Not all security guards are the same!

Which assignments I am allocated depends largely on my further training.

At P3 Security, we attach great importance to the further education and training of our security staff.

But is it really worth doing a training course? Let’s take a look at that in today’s article!

What further training opportunities are there?

Legal requirement for employees:

  • Instruction procedure according to §34a GewO
  • Examination of expertise according to §34a GewO

For career changers:

  • Certified protection and security officer (GSSK)

Vocational training:

  • Service employee for protection and security
  • Specialist for protection and security

Further education / studies:

  • Master of Arts
  • Security specialist
  • Bachelor of Arts
  • IHK certified master craftsman for protection and security

In addition: Depending on the job, there are other specialist qualifications, such as firearms expertise.

Is further training really worthwhile?

Security staff who have completed the GSSK, for example, benefit on various levels. Firstly, because they are anchored in  collective agreements and therefore receive a higher wage – and secondly, because they can obtain prestigious contracts.

Good, qualified security staff are always in demand, which is why further training is worthwhile for everyone.

Even if the subject matter and the training often seem daunting, you should not be discouraged and stay on the ball.

This gives you the best career opportunities in a crisis-proof industry.

We are happy to support our employees in their further training and therefore cover the costs for them.
